Dr. Gupta is a senior psychiatrist with more than 24 years of experience. He has been involved as a consultant and advisor in the fields of mental health and substance abuse for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and NITI Aayog, the Government of India’s policy think-tank. He is an active member of the Central Mental Health Authority and served on a panel that assessed the government’s Mental Healthcare Act 2017. He also operates Tulasi Healthcare and Tulasi Home, an NGO that helps patients from our society’s economically disadvantaged sections. Tulasi Healthcare is a psychiatric hospital and rehabilitation centre.
